Third Plenary Session: Understanding the Dynamics of Religious Persecution

Roger Finke discusses data on religious persecution throughout the world. Jónatas Machado analyzes several political theories as they relate to religious freedom and explains gaps between constitutionally-enshrined religious freedom promises and their implementation.  Andrew Teal presents historical examples of religious persecution and explains religious observers’ vulnerability.
