Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Cults and Religion
La Viseis earned a bachelor’s degree in law from the Royal University of Law and Economics and a master’s degree in European law from University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. He was awarded a Chevening Scholarship—one of the most prestigious scholarship programs in the world. Mr. La worked for the Ministry of Commerce from 1999 to 2023 before he was appointed as undersecretary of state of the Ministry of Culture and Religion. Since then, he has been appointed head of the committee for drafting a law on belief and religion. In addition, he has recently been entrusted with a position to assist with legal reform for the Ministry.
