The organizers of the 2008 Strasbourg Consortium meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, would like to express their gratitude to the organizers of the Gerard Noodt Foundation, who provided funding that helped to make the Consortium portion of the Geneva Meeting possible. Out of appreciation for this support, the Consortium named their portion of the Geneva Meeting in honor of the Gerard Noodt Foundation. Representatives of the Gerard Noodt Foundation made a brief presentation at the meeting, noting, among other things, that they hope to raise funds for future freedom of religion or belief efforts.
