The conference was held in New Delhi, India, on February 14-16, 2008. Professor W. Cole Durham, Jr., Director of the Center and one of the co-chairs of the conference, gave opening remarks and also presented on Religion and Criminal Law – Comparative Perspectives. Professor Brett G. Scharffs, Associate Director of the Center, presented on Freedom and Equality Orientations in the Domain of Law and Religion. Professor Durham also spoke in the concluding session.
