Sikander Ahmed Shah is a professor of human rights and international law at the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) at Lahore University of Management Sciences. His work focuses on religious rights, freedom of belief, and interfaith harmony. A founding member of SAHSOL, he has advised government and civil societies on constitutional protections, minority rights, and Pakistan’s international human rights obligations. He has conducted trainings for judicial officers and legal workers on minority (ethnic and religious) and gender protection, inclusivity, and rights-based service delivery. His academic work and public service reflect a strong commitment to advancing inclusive legal frameworks and fostering interfaith understanding in Pakistan.
