Rashad Ibadov, Dean, School of Law, ADA University
Rashad Ibadov is the founding dean of the School of Law at ADA University in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is also a visiting professor of law at the Catholic University of Lille in France. Ibadov received his LLD from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, in 2013; his LLM degree from the Faculty of Law at Lund University in Lund, Sweden, in 2006; and his LLB degree (with high honors) from the School of Law and Social Sciences at Khazar University in Baku, Azerbaijan, in 2003. Ibadov was a fellow or a guest professor of law at the Faculty of Law and Economics at Martin Luther University in Germany; Harvard Law School in Massachusetts, USA; the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK; and Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley in California, USA. He teaches jurisprudence and constitutional law, and his research interests include law and religion, political and legal philosophy, constitutional law, and citizenship and identity in the post-Soviet space.
