In an interview after submitting the final report for the Global HIV Commission and The Law, former Brazilian president Fernando Henrique Cardoso (aka FHC) affirmed that the proposed changes in public health policies were not construed in violation of religious rights. According to him, the main goal is to eliminate discrimination, repression and struggle against those most vulnerable.
