Vice Rector for International Cooperation, International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan

Since April 2025, Olim Astanakulov has been serving as vice rector at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. Prior to this, he worked as head of the Department of Islamic Economy and Finance as well as head of Ziyarah Tourism at the same institution. Between 2019 and 2021, he served as dean of the master’s program at the Academy of Public Administration under the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan. From 2012 to 2019, he was dean of the Faculty of Financial Management at the Tashkent Institute of Finance.
