Deputy Chairman, Government Committee for Religious Affairs, Vietnam

Nguyễn Tiến Trọng is deputy head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs. He holds a bachelor of laws degree and served as deputy director of the Department of Homeland Security under the Ministry of Public Security from 2015 to 2021. Since 2021, he has served as deputy head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs. Throughout his career, he has been a member of the drafting committee for the Law on Belief and Religion, Decree No. 95/2023/ND-CP, as well as a member of the editorial board of the 2023 White Book on Religion. With his deep knowledge of various religions and his extensive practical experience, he has made important contributions to the development, improvement, and implementation of legal frameworks to safeguard the right to freedom of belief and religion.
