Megan Green

Student, Brigham Young University

Megan Green is a senior at Brigham Young University who is majoring in geography with an emphasis on geospatial intelligence and minoring in Africana studies and global environmental studies. After serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she worked with East African refugees in San Diego, California, she developed a lasting interest in the African continent and its diverse cultures, languages, and religious traditions. She has pursued this passion through completing in-country research in Tanzania and developing a historical African-cultures-and-languages database. Ms. Green, a native of the Atlanta, Georgia, area, enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
