Maria del Pilar Bosca Chillida earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of El Salvador. For the past eight years, she has led the Office of Religious Affairs within the Directorate of Religious Entities and Affairs in the Government for the City of Buenos Aires. Before that, she worked in the city’s legislative branch. Since December 2023, she has served as the Director General of Religious Affairs for the Buenos Aires city government. She has been a member of CALIR, the Argentine Council for Religious Freedom, since 2024. Pilar has twice been a candidate for the Buenos Aires City Legislature, representing the Republican Proposal Party. In 2025, she participated in the FIDELA Ministerial in Washington, DC.
