Gregory Clark

Vice President, Religious Freedom & Business Foundation

Gregory Clark received his BA from Brigham Young University in 1976. He then served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Clark received his juris doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law, then worked in the oil and gas industry for about 16 years (Exxon and Occidental Petroleum Corporation). He was Occidental’s legal manager in Ecuador and its managing counsel for the Middle East while living in Qatar. He was assigned as Asia Area legal counsel for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in May 2022. He previously served as the area legal counsel for the Church in Mexico (2001–2005), Peru (2005–2009), Brazil (2012–2015), and the Dominican Republic (2015–2018). Mr. Clark is a cofounder and vice president of the Religious Freedom and Business Foundation. He has spoken at the SEAFORB Conference in Bali, Indonesia, and has trained Parliamentarians from Southeast Asia on religious freedom in the workplace.
