Fabio Leite

Attorney; Professor, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro

Fabio Leite earned a PhD in public law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He also holds a master’s degree in state theory and constitutional law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, where he now works as an associate professor. In addition, Professor Leite is a research productivity fellow of the National Research Council, a fellow at the Rio de Janeiro State Research Foundation, a research fellow at the Freedom of Expression and the Press and Social Media Research Center of the Rio de Janeiro State School of Magistrates, and an associate researcher at the Brazilian Center for Law and Religion Studies. Professor Leite is a member of the International Consortium for Law and Religion Studies, the Latin American Consortium for Religious Freedom, and the Lusophone Alliance for Religious Freedom. He is coordinator of the Research Group on Freedom of Expression in Brazil.
