
After earning an MBA from BYU, Dave began his career managing some of ExxonMobil’s international operations which included living with his family for 25 years in non-Christian developing nations (Thailand, Egypt, Indonesia, Kazakhstan). This gave him a unique perspective on religious freedom. Dave and his wife Lori have served two missions, including 30 months in Los Angeles as Public Affairs missionaries working with the LA Diplomatic Corps and with business, government and religious leaders. They brought various LA Consuls General to participate in the Center’s October International Symposium in Provo and worked with Christian, Moslem, Jewish and other faith organizations to preserve religious freedoms in California.
Lori attended BYU and graduated from what is now UVU. She lived overseas for 25 years in non-Christian developing nations (Thailand, Egypt, Indonesia, Kazakhstan) during her husband’s international assignments. This gave her a unique perspective on religious freedom. She raised 4 children overseas and was very active in the local communities where she lived, holding numerous positions in community, charitable and non-profit organizations around the world. Lori and her husband Dave have served two missions, including 30 months in Los Angeles as Public Affairs missionaries working with the LA Diplomatic Corps and with business, government and religious leaders. Lori and Dave have 4 children and 13 grandchildren.
