Clark graduated from BYU with a BS degree in Horticulture. He worked for the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food for 30 years before retiring in 2016. Clark and his wife, Nora, operated Burgess Orchards in Alpine for many years before selling most of the orchard in 2021. Clark is now retired and enjoys traveling and playing pickleball. Clark served a 2-year mission to Taiwan, and Clark and Nora served a service mission for 2-years at Mutual Dell. Clark is currently serving a Virtual Records (VROC) service mission in the Family Search Department.

Nora graduated from the University of Utah with a BS degree in Education and taught elementary school for 10 years before retiring to help run the Burgess Orchards fruit stand in Alpine. Nora and Clark served a 2-year service mission at Mutual Dell. Nora is currently spending most of her days caring for grandchildren. Clark and Nora are both currently serving in the temple.
