Teaching Professor, Notre Dame Law School
Christine Venter, a Zimbabwean native, obtained her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. After practicing civil rights law in South Africa for several years, she relocated to the US to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees in international human rights law at Notre Dame Law School. Her dissertation involved an analysis of cultural rights and women’s rights under the South African constitution. She is a teaching professor of law at Notre Dame Law School, where she teaches in the areas of international human rights law, legal writing, and appellate advocacy.
