Forty-one year-old Catholic Priest Evandro Bezerra Santos was arrested on sexual abuse charges against two fourteen-year-old boys in Cabrobó, in the Northeastern State of Pernambuco. According to the prosecutor, Júlio César Cavalcanti, Santos used his authority as a priest to meet with the boys without their parents being present and, in return of sexual favors, would give them money and food.
