Brendan Murphy is a senior at BYU studying philosophy and English literature, with minors in Scandinavian studies (Finnish emphasis) and logic. He worked as a speech writer and policy advisor while interning at the All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom of Religion or Belief at the UK Parliament. Since then, he has worked in nonprofit advisement, as a research and teaching assistant, and as editor in chief for BYU’s undergraduate philosophy and literary criticism student journals. He plans to attend graduate school in philosophy. He is from Springville, Utah, and enjoys spending time with his loved ones, playing and watching sports, skiing, and traveling.
