Annual Symposium 2004: “Religion in the Public Sphere: Challenges and Opportunities”

This volume addresses various aspects of the role of religion in the public sphere. Several of the papers provide comparative perspectives on religion in the public sphere. Others address more specific topics, such as the U.S. International Religious Freedom Act, religion in Ghanean lawmaking, and religion in the public sphere in Japan.
