Ángel S. Canó Sención is a lawyer with master’s degrees in administrative law (2010), constitutional law (2013), and canon matrimonial law (2016). He has completed postgraduate courses, diplomas, and specializations in international arbitration at the University of Washington School of Law in 2007, American law at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1986, CEA-WTO at Georgetown University in Washington, D C, in 1999, along with other studies in Taiwan, Brazil, Jamaica, Uruguay, South Korea, and Costa Rica. He has worked in the public and private sectors and has taught at various universities in the Dominican Republic. He is also a deacon in the Archdiocese of Santo Domingo (2016) and author of the book Manual of Energy Law among other publications. Canó Sención is cofounder of the firm REC&M, Consulting Lawyers.
