The 9th Criminal Court of the State of São Paulo (Brazil) fights racial and religious discrimination in historical decision

A law student is sentenced to one year in prison for racial discrimination and incitement to homicide after posting discriminatory comments on Twitter. In the opinion, the judge of the Ninth Criminal Court of São Paulo explained the importance of this decision and the need to stop all sorts of discrimination, including discrimination based on one’s religious beliefs and practices.
