Senator, Pohnpei State Legislature
Francisco Simran served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Utah Salt City South Mission. Afterward, he attended BYU–Hawaii and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electronic and computer hardware. Mr. Simran moved to Maui and worked for American Airlines as a field technician. In 1997 he and his family moved back to his native Pohnpei, where he worked for the Department of Education and later for the College of Micronesia–FSM. Mr. Simran is currently serving as a senator in the Pohnpei State Legislature.
