John Zenger Externship Experience

John Zenger is one of our 2025 Summer Fellows who is interested in inter-religious peace building and eventually wants to be a practicing litigator. He completed his undergraduate degree in Intercultural Peace building and Vocal Performance at BYU–Hawaii. Here is what he said about his experiences in the Philippines this summer:

“I’ll cherish the time I spent in the Philippines for the rest of my life. I worked in the Church Administration Office in Manila with some of the kindest people I have ever met. They took me in, fed me, entertained me, and taught me. The Area Legal Counsel and the other attorneys in the office were fantastic––I learned a lot from them about writing, thinking, planning, and leading.”
