Elle McConkie is a law student at BYU who is interested in studying the intersection between law and religion in the human rights field. Elle graduated summa cum laude from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degrees in history and religious studies. She was involved with the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable and worked at a community center where she helped develop an ESL program for refugee and immigrant youth. Elle is excited to work with ICLRS to explore how she can better advocate for fundamental human rights in local, national, and international spaces. Elle also loves to run, hike, learn about different cultures, and travel with her husband.
