Jonathan Tucker is a recent graduate of Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford, where he completed a master’s degree in history. His work focuses on the intersection of religious discourse, the articulation of community, and selfhood, with specific attention to the selfhood of vagrant subjects in early modern England and the criminalization of homelessness in the modern era. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in history and poverty and human capability studies from Washington and Lee University and intends to pursue further study in law, socio-legal studies, religion, or history.
