Marianna Richardson: Sao Paulo, Brazil

Marianna Richardson graduated from BYU in English literature and art history and found her sweetheart, Steve, while receiving her degree. They are the happy parents of 12 children and the proud grandparents of 26 grandchildren. Their family has lived in Seattle, Washington; Gaithersburg, Maryland; and Yorktown, New York. While raising her children, Marianna received a master’s degree at Johns Hopkins and a doctorate at Seattle Pacific University. She has taught at the BYU Marriott School of Business for the past six years. Her husband Steve was a mission president in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She loved working with the missionaries and being a missionary and looks forward to returning to that beautiful country. Her main reason for attending BYU Law School is her passion for promoting religious freedom around the world.
