Cara Duchene

Master Schedule

Cara Duchene was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is a second year BYU Law student currently serving as SBA president. During high school, she went on service missions to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Juneau, Alaska through a non-denominational church, and later served a Spanish-speaking full-time mission in Houston, TX for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated with honors from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and published an honors thesis entitled “Investigating Psychotherapy Strategies for Latter-day Saints with Same-sex Attraction.” This summer she will intern in Madrid, Spain for the international firm Hogan Lovells. In her spare time Cara enjoys literature, yoga, photography, and competitive swimming. Cara enjoyed volunteering with the International Law and Religion Symposium in 2014 and looks forward to working on the Master Schedule in 2015.
