Eleanor Colton and her late husband, Sterling, established the Sterling and Eleanor Colton Endowed Chair in Law and Religion at BYU Law School to support the efforts of ICLRS. Eleanor was an elementary school teacher. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from University of Utah. She was the president of Kappa Kappa Gamma while attending the University. Sterling was the former Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors of Marriott International, Inc., headquartered in Washington, D.C. They are the parents of four children.
