Rhett Hunt is from Pueblo, Colorado, He graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Russian. Rhett first became interested in religious freedom while living in Moscow for two years as a volunteer missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While in Russia, Rhett encountered state-wide prohibitions on the free exercise of religion, and he committed himself to support universal religious liberty. Rhett later had the opportunity to clerk in a human rights law firm in Moscow focused primarily on religious liberty cases. When Rhett is not reading law textbooks, he enjoys eating good food and going on walks with his wife, Grace.
