Duane Shaw is the principal owner and founder of Academy Mortgage Corporation, a national mortgage banking firm headquartered in Sandy, Utah. He has been involved with a number of other businesses, including land development, construction of homes, producing thoroughbred horses, an independent insurance agency and real estate investments. Duane received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Marci Shaw has served as the managing member of Dumar, LLC as well as involvement in other companies with her husband, Duane. Marci has been actively involved in raising a family and serving in her church. She attended Utah State University. Marci and Duane have four married children and 13 grandchildren. They currently reside in Sandy, Utah.
